Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Grocery Manager in directing daily operations of the Dairy Department, including supervising and training associates
- Ensure dairy products meet quality standards by stocking, rotating, facing merchandise, and removing expired or spoiled items
- Order, receive, store, and manage dairy inventory, including backroom organization and inventory controls
- Maintain clean, organized shelves, coolers, and work areas in accordance with company and food safety standards
- Monitor and document temperatures of dairy cases, coolers, and freezers
- Build and maintain dairy and grocery displays, including seasonal and promotional merchandising
- Provide friendly, courteous customer service and support suggestive selling efforts
- Train and coach associates on dairy stocking, conditioning, and merchandising standards
- Support grocery department operations as needed, including stocking, order writing, cashiering, and reclamation processes

- Ability to use registers, self-checkout systems, and handle all forms of payment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise (up to 60 lbs.), and to stand or walk for extended periods

No travel required; position is based in a single retail store location

- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to operate a baler and electrical equipment
- Successful completion of all required company training programs
