INTRODUCTION

This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing programs, as assigned, in alignment with Overture’s goals for the people we serve. This includes meeting with participants, families, guardians, and other team members to explore opportunities with Overture, regular travel to various locations, availability for meetings and events outside of office hours, and coordination with necessary parties to bring in new intakes and deliver quality services.

Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or equivalent in closely related field.
• 2-3 years’ supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess professional and expert knowledge of family dynamics and methods of crisis intervention.
• Must have solid computer and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Must be able and willing to work some hours outside of normal working hours to respond to emergencies or to otherwise meet the needs of the people we serve and their families.
• Must have consistent access to reliable transportation that will allow for quick response in an emergency.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License from the state in which you reside, maintain a clean driving record, and proof of insurance per company insurance guidelines.
• Must pass a motor vehicle record (MVR), background check, and other screening per Company requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Included, but not limited to):

• Maintain program approval standards in accordance with state requirements.
• Build relationships with necessary parties to begin receiving referrals for service and begin growing the program in a financially responsible and stable manner.
• Meet potential people in services and/or their families looking for services and facilitate intake process in agreed upon service settings.
• Carry small caseload.
• Support with intake of new individuals.
• Build and develop Overture’s reputation in alignment with our vision, mission, and values to become an agency of choice.
• Educate relevant stakeholders on new models or services through our person-centered philosophy.
• Participate in outreach efforts to expand Overture’s presence and foster positive community relations.
• Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and report status to supervisor/designee with insights on what is working/not working and recommendations on ways to improve.
• Assist HR throughout the entire employee/provider life cycle to include hiring, firing, orientation, training, performance, and compliance.
• Assist HR in ensuring personnel/provider files are legally compliant and up to date. Assist in tracking expiration dates to apply to required documentation.
• Interface with HR Director on HR regulations regarding legal hiring practices and trainings for all employees.
• Ensure performance evaluations are completed on an annual basis for all employees and track due dates to ensure completion in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge and distribution of Overture policies and serve as a resource to staff to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Assist personnel with problem-solving and decision-making in both a crisis and day-to-day operations. Help develop their skills to complete these tasks independently.
• Mentor, supervise, and train staff in performing thorough assessments, developing service and support plans, and other paperwork as assigned. Ensure that documentation is completed on time and accurately.

• Physical Requirements - Requires repetitive manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination; requires the ability to use all office equipment; and the ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds using appropriate body mechanics.

• Pressure Factor - This position may require employees to adapt to a frequently changing environment, including handling and de-escalating incidents. This position will interact with individuals who are intellectually and developmentally delayed, may be frail, confused, and at times engage in verbal or physical aggression. Accordingly, it is sometimes necessary to deal with unpleasant situations with the need to problem solve.
