Which companies sponsor visas for technical solutions architects in Nevada?
MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, and Switch (a major data center operator headquartered in Las Vegas) have filed Labor Condition Applications for technical and engineering roles. NV Energy, Aristocrat Technologies, and regional offices of Amazon Web Services and Oracle also represent common sponsoring employers for solutions architecture positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for technical solutions architect roles in Nevada?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for technical solutions architects in Nevada, as the role consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa, Canadians and Mexicans may qualify under TN visa status, and those with multinational employer backgrounds sometimes transfer on an L-1B for specialized knowledge workers.
Which cities in Nevada have the most technical solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Las Vegas and the broader Clark County area account for the large majority of technical solutions architect openings in Nevada, driven by the hospitality, gaming, and data center industries. Henderson, directly adjacent to Las Vegas, hosts corporate headquarters for several technology and financial services firms. Reno has grown as a secondary hub, attracting data centers from companies like Apple and Google, which supports demand for infrastructure and solutions architecture talent.
How to find technical solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Nevada?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter technical solutions architect roles by state, so you can focus exclusively on Nevada employers who have indicated sponsorship availability. Because the platform is tailored to sponsored positions, it removes the guesswork of identifying which Nevada employers are open to candidates requiring H-1B, E-3, or TN support for this role.
Are there state-specific considerations for technical solutions architects seeking sponsorship in Nevada?
Nevada has no state income tax, which affects how employers position total compensation for sponsored roles, though prevailing wage obligations under Department of Labor rules are set at the federal level regardless. The state's heavy concentration in hospitality and gaming technology means solutions architects here often work on large-scale customer-facing platforms rather than purely enterprise software, which can influence how employers frame the specialty occupation requirements in H-1B petitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical solutions architect jobs in Nevada?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
