Which companies sponsor visas for technical solutions architects in Tennessee?
Companies with a track record of H-1B visa sponsorship for technical solutions architects in Tennessee include HCA Healthcare, Oracle, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, FedEx, and Nissan North America. Healthcare IT firms concentrated in Nashville and enterprise technology teams supporting manufacturing operations in Middle and East Tennessee are among the most active sponsors for this role.
Which visa types are most common for technical solutions architect roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa for technical solutions architects in Tennessee, given the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with prior U.S. employer relationships may also enter on L-1B intracompany transferee visas. Australian nationals occasionally use the E-3 visa when working for Tennessee-based employers.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most technical solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the largest share of technical solutions architect sponsorship activity in Tennessee, driven by its healthcare IT, fintech, and enterprise software sectors. Knoxville sees demand tied to Oak Ridge National Laboratory's tech ecosystem and advanced manufacturing. Memphis contributes sponsorship opportunities through logistics technology roles at companies supporting major supply chain operations in the region.
How to find technical solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for technical solutions architect roles in Tennessee without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform surfaces roles from employers who have demonstrated willingness to sponsor, which is particularly useful in a state where sponsorship activity is concentrated in specific sectors like healthcare IT and enterprise technology rather than spread evenly across industries.
Are there any state-specific considerations for technical solutions architects seeking sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons when employers file Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor. The DOL sets prevailing wages by metropolitan area, so Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis each have distinct wage thresholds for this role. Tennessee's concentration in healthcare IT also means many sponsoring employers fall under HIPAA-regulated environments, which can shape the technical scope and seniority expectations for solutions architect positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical solutions architect jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
