Which companies sponsor visas for technical solutions architects in Texas?
Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T and Ericsson in Dallas, Oracle in Austin, and Amazon Web Services across multiple Texas offices have established histories of sponsoring H-1B visas for technical solutions architects. Large consulting firms with Texas presence, including Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro, also file significant numbers of H-1B petitions for this role category each year.
Which visa types are most common for technical solutions architect roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for technical solutions architects in Texas, given the role's qualification as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. L-1B visas are also used when a candidate transfers from a multinational employer's overseas office to a Texas location with demonstrated specialized knowledge.
How to find technical solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for technical solutions architect roles in Texas without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. The platform aggregates sponsoring employers across Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston, letting you focus your applications on companies with an active track record of filing H-1B or L-1 visa petitions for this role.
Which cities in Texas have the most technical solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state for technical solutions architect sponsorship volume, anchored by AT&T, Texas Instruments, and a dense concentration of enterprise software and telecom firms. Austin is the fastest-growing market, driven by Dell, Oracle, and an expanding base of cloud and SaaS companies. Houston contributes sponsorship opportunities primarily through energy technology, healthcare IT, and NASA-adjacent aerospace sectors.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for technical solutions architect visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since the Department of Labor sets H-1B wage floors based on local metropolitan area data, not state averages. Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin are separate wage determination areas with distinct prevailing wage levels for technical solutions architect positions. UT Austin and Texas A&M also feed strong OPT pipelines into Texas employers, meaning companies in this state are generally experienced with the H-1B transition process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical solutions architect jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
