Role: Technical Architect

Overview
We are looking for a Technical Solutions Architect to join our Platform Integration Lighthouse team: Someone who combines architectural thinking with hands-on engineering, has a passion for standardization and scalability, and who is eager to solve integration problems in agentic, AI-driven integration initiatives. In this role, you are embedded into a global team. You support complex cross-solution integration programs across Planning and Execution solutions, working closely with Product Development and early-adopter customers, contributing to building the next generation of integration accelerators for the Blue Yonder Platform. This position is ideal for candidates who want to grow into broader platform architecture, while staying close to engineering, delivery, and customer interactions. This role blends hands-on integration design with acting as a liaison between Product Development and Implementation teams. While not an engineering role, it requires enough technical depth to apply integration patterns, troubleshoot issues, and guide teams on practical solution decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Platform Lighthouse & Integration:
- Support complex integration programs across the Blue Yonder solution space (Planning + Execution).
- Provide architectural oversight for customer engagements, ensuring consistent and scalable patterns across teams.
- Partner with Professional Services and field teams to guide early implementations and improve deployability and operability.
- Share your knowledge within the Lighthouse team as well as ensure that your colleagues from Professional Services get to know what you explore and learn.
Solution Adoption & Standardization:
- Contribute to key initiatives that drive Blue Yonder Platform and solution adoption.
- Propose and develop standardized integration patterns, artefacts (e.g., Starter-kits) and best practices across Platform services for Planning and Execution solutions.
- Work with Product Development to test, validate, and provide structured feedback on integration features across the Blue Yonder Platform.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure integration needs, dependencies, and improvement areas are well understood and actioned.
AI & Agentic Integration:
- Propose, define, design, and build agentic integration artefacts and tools that drive standardization and stability, while reducing effort and complexity in integration implementations.
- Influence how AI-driven integration scenarios are tested, validated, and deployed within the Platform Lighthouse ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in implementing, integrating, or supporting Enterprise Supply Chain solutions for Planning, Execution, Control Tower/Network, Flexis, or related systems.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs, data flows, architecture and authentication fundamentals.
- Experience in configuring Platform integration patterns, troubleshooting, and integration testing.
Preferred/Nice To Have Skills:
- Technical knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.), DevOps, and Generative AI/AI Agents a big plus.
- Familiarity with Blue Yonder Platform & Infrastructure Services (Snowflake, Kafka, Stratosphere, LIAM, CIS, EFS, Bulk/Streaming, Transform & Distribute) is an asset.
- Experience working with or around Blue Yonder solutions is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to multi-solution integration concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with the distinct challenges of real-time and batch-based integration patterns.
What we Expect from You
- Strong communication and consulting skills.
- Experienced in engaging customers and internal stakeholders.
- Engineering mindset with enthusiasm for automation, templatization, repeatability, and process simplification, accepting the challenges of evolving technology.

Which companies sponsor visas for technical solutions architects in Texas?
Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T and Ericsson in Dallas, Oracle in Austin, and Amazon Web Services across multiple Texas offices have established histories of sponsoring H-1B visas for technical solutions architects. Large consulting firms with Texas presence, including Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro, also file significant numbers of H-1B petitions for this role category each year.
Which visa types are most common for technical solutions architect roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for technical solutions architects in Texas, given the role's qualification as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. L-1B visas are also used when a candidate transfers from a multinational employer's overseas office to a Texas location with demonstrated specialized knowledge.
How to find technical solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for technical solutions architect roles in Texas without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. The platform aggregates sponsoring employers across Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston, letting you focus your applications on companies with an active track record of filing H-1B or L-1 petitions for this role.
Which cities in Texas have the most technical solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state for technical solutions architect sponsorship volume, anchored by AT&T, Texas Instruments, and a dense concentration of enterprise software and telecom firms. Austin is the fastest-growing market, driven by Dell, Oracle, and an expanding base of cloud and SaaS companies. Houston contributes sponsorship opportunities primarily through energy technology, healthcare IT, and NASA-adjacent aerospace sectors.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for technical solutions architect visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since the Department of Labor sets H-1B wage floors based on local metropolitan area data, not state averages. Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin are separate wage determination areas with distinct prevailing wage levels for technical solutions architect positions. UT Austin and Texas A&M also feed strong OPT pipelines into Texas employers, meaning companies in this state are generally experienced with the H-1B transition process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical solutions architect jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
