Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for technical solutions architects?
Georgia-based employers with a track record of sponsoring technical solutions architects include NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Cox Enterprises, Fiserv, and Delta Air Lines, all of which operate large technology divisions in Atlanta. Major consulting firms with Georgia offices, including Deloitte, Accenture, and IBM, also sponsor regularly for this role. Tech-forward healthcare employers like Optum and UnitedHealth Group have a growing Atlanta presence as well.
Which visa types are most common for technical solutions architect roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for technical solutions architects in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. L-1A and L-1B visas appear frequently for intracompany transfers, particularly at multinational firms like Accenture and IBM. Candidates from Australia may be eligible for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category.
Which cities in Georgia have the most technical solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of technical solutions architect sponsorship opportunities in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, fintech companies, and enterprise technology firms. Alpharetta, a suburb north of Atlanta, has a dense cluster of financial technology and software companies that hire for this role. Midtown Atlanta and the Buckhead corridor are also active hiring corridors, particularly for cloud and SaaS-focused employers.
How to find technical solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for technical solutions architect roles in Georgia without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can narrow results by city, visa type, and employer to focus on Atlanta-area fintech, enterprise software, and consulting firms. Checking listings regularly is worthwhile because sponsorship-eligible roles at Georgia employers move quickly.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for technical solutions architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia's fintech corridor, sometimes called the "Transaction Alley" due to the volume of payment processing companies headquartered in the state, creates consistent demand for solutions architects with enterprise integration and cloud architecture experience. The Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University supply a strong local talent pipeline, which means sponsored candidates often benefit from demonstrating specialized expertise in areas like financial platforms, healthcare IT, or cloud-native architecture that distinguishes them from the local graduate pool.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical solutions architect jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
