Which companies in Missouri sponsor visas for technical solutions architects?
World Wide Technology in St. Louis is one of Missouri's most active sponsors for technical solutions architect roles, given its scale as a global technology solutions provider. Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City, Edward Jones, and Mastercard's St. Louis operations also have established sponsorship histories for senior technical roles. Consulting firms and regional managed service providers with Missouri headquarters round out the sponsoring employer pool.
Which visa types are most common for technical solutions architect roles in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for technical solutions architects in Missouri. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field. Candidates already holding L-1B specialized knowledge status with multinational employers sometimes transition into solutions architect roles without entering the H-1B lottery. O-1A petitions are less common but available for candidates with demonstrable industry recognition.
Which cities in Missouri have the most technical solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis and Kansas City account for the large majority of technical solutions architect sponsorship activity in Missouri. St. Louis benefits from a strong presence of technology services companies, financial institutions, and healthcare IT firms. Kansas City has grown as a mid-market tech hub, supported by Oracle Health, Cerner's legacy infrastructure, and an expanding base of logistics and supply chain technology employers. Columbia sees limited but occasional sponsorship activity tied to university-affiliated research and healthcare.
How to find technical solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search technical solutions architect roles in Missouri without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. Missouri's sponsoring employers tend to cluster in enterprise technology, financial services, and healthcare IT, so narrowing your search on Migrate Mate by those sectors alongside the state filter will surface the most relevant active openings for this role.
Are there any Missouri-specific considerations for technical solutions architects pursuing visa sponsorship?
Missouri does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but prevailing wage compliance is particularly scrutinized for solutions architect roles because the title spans a wide range of seniority levels. Employers filing Labor Condition Applications must classify the role accurately to avoid wage level mismatches. Missouri's lower cost of living compared to coastal markets can influence how employers set offered wages, which affects LCA compliance and the overall attractiveness of Missouri-based offers for international candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical solutions architect jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
