Which companies sponsor visas for data science analysts in New Hampshire?
BAE Systems in Nashua, Fidelity Investments with operations across southern New Hampshire, and Dartmouth Health in Lebanon have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for analytical roles in recent years. Defense contractors and financial services firms in the Nashua-Manchester corridor represent the most active sponsoring employers for data science analyst positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for data science analyst roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the primary visa category for data science analysts in New Hampshire, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation requirement. Candidates already holding F-1 OPT or STEM OPT can work for a sponsoring employer while the H-1B petition is filed. The O-1A is an option for analysts with demonstrable recognition in the field.
How to find data science analyst visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse data science analyst openings in New Hampshire without sifting through roles where employers won't support international candidates. Filtering by state lets you focus on Manchester, Nashua, and Lebanon, where sponsoring employers are most active. Setting up alerts ensures you see new postings from defense, healthcare, and financial services employers as they go live.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most data science analyst sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of data science analyst sponsorship activity in New Hampshire, driven by BAE Systems, financial services firms, and technology companies along the Route 3 corridor. Lebanon sees demand from Dartmouth Health and affiliated research institutions. Durham, home to the University of New Hampshire, generates some postings tied to research and administrative analytics roles.
Are there any state-specific considerations for data science analysts pursuing visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire's defense sector requires security clearances for many analytical roles at employers like BAE Systems and Raytheon, and non-U.S. citizens face significant restrictions on clearance eligibility, which can limit the pool of sponsoring positions. Healthcare and financial services roles are generally more accessible. The University of New Hampshire's analytics programs create a local talent pipeline that some employers draw from when evaluating international candidates already in the region.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data science analyst jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
