Tips for Finding E-3 Sponsorship Jobs in New Hampshire
Target the southern NH tech corridor
Manchester and Nashua host the highest concentration of E-3-eligible employers in the state, including software, defense technology, and engineering firms. Focusing your search on these two cities gives you the most realistic shot at finding active sponsorship.
Use the Boston metro spillover to your advantage
Many companies with Boston headquarters maintain satellite offices in southern New Hampshire. If a Boston-area employer has an NH office, they often have the legal infrastructure to sponsor E-3 visas and may prefer the lower operating costs of an NH location.
Search by industry, not just location
On Migrate Mate, filter by E-3 visa and refine by industry to surface healthcare, engineering, and technology roles in New Hampshire specifically. Searching by visa type first helps you avoid wasting time on listings from employers who don't sponsor.
Look at university-affiliated employers
New Hampshire institutions like Dartmouth College and the University of New Hampshire regularly hire for research, clinical, and technical roles that qualify as specialty occupations. Academic and affiliated employers tend to have established immigration processes.
Check defense and advanced manufacturing employers
New Hampshire has a notable defense and precision manufacturing sector, with firms in the Lakes Region and Manchester area. Engineering and technical roles at these companies often qualify for E-3 sponsorship and see less candidate competition than pure tech roles.
Engage employers before applying
New Hampshire's smaller employer base means many hiring managers handle sponsorship decisions directly. Reaching out through professional channels before submitting a formal application can clarify whether a company will sponsor an E-3, saving time on both sides.

Which industries in New Hampshire sponsor the most E-3 visas?
Technology and software development, healthcare and life sciences, and defense-related engineering account for the largest share of E-3 visa sponsorship activity in New Hampshire. The southern part of the state, particularly the Manchester-Nashua corridor, concentrates most of this activity, with advanced manufacturing and higher education also generating a meaningful number of sponsored roles.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua are the primary hubs for E-3 sponsorship in New Hampshire, driven by their concentration of technology companies, healthcare systems, and corporate offices. Concord, as the state capital, offers government-adjacent professional roles, while Hanover attracts research-focused candidates due to Dartmouth College and its affiliated medical center.
What types of roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles that qualify for E-3 sponsorship must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning they require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In New Hampshire, common qualifying roles include software engineers, data analysts, biomedical researchers, civil and mechanical engineers, financial analysts, and registered nurses or clinical specialists working within hospital networks or private healthcare systems.
How do I find E-3 sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and lets you filter by E-3 visa sponsorship to surface verified opportunities in New Hampshire. Beyond that, target employers in the Manchester and Nashua tech corridors directly, check university and hospital career portals, and look at companies with Boston headquarters that maintain New Hampshire offices, as they often have established sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
