Which insurance companies in New Hampshire sponsor E-3 visas?
National carriers with significant New Hampshire operations, including Liberty Mutual, MetLife, and Cigna, have filed Labor Condition Applications for insurance roles in the state. Regional insurers and specialty lines companies headquartered in Manchester and Concord also appear in DOL disclosure data. Sponsorship activity concentrates in firms large enough to maintain in-house HR teams familiar with E-3 visa filing requirements, though smaller brokerages occasionally sponsor for hard-to-fill actuarial or underwriting positions.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most insurance E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Manchester is the center of New Hampshire's insurance job market, hosting regional offices for national carriers and a concentration of independent agencies. Concord, as the state capital, supports insurance roles tied to government-adjacent risk and compliance functions. Nashua attracts insurance employers drawn by proximity to the Massachusetts border and the greater Boston talent pool. Bedford and Portsmouth also have smaller but active insurance employer presences worth monitoring.
What types of insurance roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that meet the specialty occupation standard require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In insurance, that covers actuaries, underwriters, risk analysts, claims analysts, compliance officers, and actuarial modeling specialists. Positions requiring quantitative degrees in mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics are strong candidates. General insurance sales roles or broadly defined account manager positions typically do not meet the specialty occupation threshold without a specific degree requirement attached.
How do I find insurance E-3 sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa type and state, so you can search specifically for insurance roles with E-3 sponsorship history in New Hampshire without sorting through employers who have never filed an LCA. The platform surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data by employer and occupation, letting you see which New Hampshire insurance companies have an active sponsorship track record before you apply. Pairing that with direct outreach to carriers in Manchester and Concord improves your targeting further.
Are there any state-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in New Hampshire's insurance industry?
New Hampshire does not impose a state income tax on wages, which affects total compensation comparisons when evaluating offers against positions in neighboring Massachusetts or other states. For E-3 purposes, the DOL prevailing wage for insurance occupations in New Hampshire is set at the Manchester-Nashua metropolitan statistical area level, so you can verify the applicable wage floor using the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating. State insurance licensing requirements are separate from visa eligibility and apply equally to all workers regardless of immigration status.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 insurance jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
