Which investment management companies sponsor E-3 visas in New Hampshire?
Fidelity Investments has a notable presence in New Hampshire and has historically sponsored work visas including the E-3 for qualified professionals. Regional registered investment advisors, wealth management firms, and insurance-affiliated asset managers operating in Manchester and Nashua also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as E-3 sponsors. Sponsorship patterns vary by firm size and hiring cycle, so confirming directly with employers is important.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most investment management E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Manchester is New Hampshire's largest city and the primary hub for financial services employment, making it the most likely location for investment management E-3 roles. Nashua, close to the Massachusetts border, also hosts financial services employers and benefits from spillover hiring from the Greater Boston market. Concord, as the state capital, has a smaller but present concentration of financial and advisory firms.
What types of investment management roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that consistently qualify include portfolio analyst, research analyst, financial analyst, investment associate, wealth management advisor, and compliance analyst, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as finance, economics, or accounting. Generalist roles where any degree field is acceptable are less likely to meet the specialty occupation standard required for E-3 eligibility.
How do I find investment management E-3 sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type (E-3), industry (investment and asset management), and state (New Hampshire) to surface roles where employers have indicated sponsorship willingness. Because E-3 sponsorship in New Hampshire's investment management sector is concentrated among a relatively small number of firms, using a targeted platform like Migrate Mate saves considerable time compared to broad job searching.
Are there any state-specific or industry-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in New Hampshire's investment management sector?
New Hampshire does not impose a state income tax on wages, which is a notable consideration for professionals evaluating overall compensation. From an immigration standpoint, investment management E-3 applicants should ensure their employer files a Labor Condition Application specifically tied to the New Hampshire worksite, as LCAs are location-specific. Firms regulated by FINRA or the SEC may also require licensing, which is independent of but parallel to the visa process.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 investment management jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
