Which technology companies in New Hampshire have sponsored F-1 STEM OPT workers?
Companies including BAE Systems, Oracle, Fidelity Investments, Insight Direct, and Dyn (now part of Oracle) have filed Labor Condition Applications for technology roles in New Hampshire. Defense contractors along the Seacoast and enterprise software firms in the Nashua and Manchester areas represent the most consistent sources of STEM OPT sponsorship activity in the state's technology sector.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most technology F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of technology sponsorship activity in New Hampshire, driven by established corporate offices and proximity to the Massachusetts border. Bedford and Portsmouth also host a meaningful number of technology employers. The Route 3 and Route 101 corridors connect many of these hiring hubs, making them practical targets for STEM OPT job seekers in software, IT, and engineering.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles classified under STEM-designated degree programs by USCIS are eligible, provided the position requires a qualifying degree and the employer is enrolled in E-Verify. In New Hampshire's technology sector, this commonly covers software engineering, systems analysis, cybersecurity, data science, network engineering, and embedded systems development. Defense and aerospace technology roles at companies like BAE Systems also frequently meet STEM OPT eligibility criteria.
How do I find technology F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for technology employers in New Hampshire who have filed Labor Condition Applications for STEM-eligible roles, so you can identify companies with a verified sponsorship track record rather than applying broadly. Filtering by city, Manchester, Nashua, or Portsmouth, and by role type such as software engineering or data science helps narrow results to positions most likely to match your OPT authorization period and degree field.
Are there state-specific considerations for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship in New Hampshire's technology sector?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons with neighboring Massachusetts, but the sponsorship process itself follows federal USCIS and DOL rules regardless of state. Many New Hampshire technology employers are subsidiaries of larger out-of-state corporations, so the E-Verify enrollment and STEM OPT training plan requirements apply at the employing entity level. Confirming that the specific New Hampshire office, not just the parent company, is enrolled in E-Verify is an important practical step before accepting an offer.
