Which companies sponsor visas for business account executives in New Jersey?
Companies with consistent H-1B visa sponsorship activity for business account executive roles in New Jersey include Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Prudential Financial, and various mid-size technology and professional services firms headquartered in the state. Pharmaceutical companies along the Route 1 corridor, including major players in the Princeton and New Brunswick areas, have also sponsored account-facing sales and business development roles.
Which visa types are most common for business account executive roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for business account executives in New Jersey, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or a related discipline. Some candidates with extraordinary achievement in sales or business development have pursued O-1B visas, though this is less common. TN visa status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most business account executive sponsorship jobs?
Newark and Jersey City generate the highest volume of sponsored business account executive roles due to their proximity to New York City and concentration of financial services, technology, and professional services employers. Princeton and the Route 1 corridor attract sponsorship activity from pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Parsippany and Iselin also see consistent sponsorship from multinational consulting and IT services firms with large New Jersey operations.
How to find business account executive visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship jobs and lets you filter by role and state, making it straightforward to browse business account executive openings in New Jersey. Beyond searching, reviewing Department of Labor H-1B disclosure data for New Jersey-based employers gives you a factual picture of which companies have sponsored this role type before, which helps you prioritize applications toward employers with a demonstrated sponsorship history.
Are there state-specific considerations for business account executive visa sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey sits within the Department of Labor's New York City metropolitan wage zone for prevailing wage calculations, which means H-1B employers must meet wage levels benchmarked to one of the highest-cost labor markets in the country. This affects which employers can realistically sustain sponsorship for account executive roles. The state's density of Fortune 500 headquarters and its university pipeline from Rutgers and Princeton also means competition for sponsored roles is meaningful, particularly in pharmaceutical and financial services.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business account executive jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
