Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for business account executives?
Technology and enterprise software companies are the most active sponsors for business account executive roles in Texas. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, Oracle in Austin, SAP in Houston, and Salesforce across Dallas and Austin have all filed H-1B visa petitions for sales and account management positions. Large telecom and healthcare firms operating in Texas also sponsor periodically, though tech employers represent the majority of filings.
Which visa types are most common for business account executive roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business account executives in Texas, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. The L-1B and L-1A are relevant for candidates transferring from a foreign office of a U.S. multinational. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may have options under the TN visa category for certain business roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most business account executive sponsorship jobs?
Dallas and Austin consistently produce the highest volume of business account executive sponsorship opportunities in Texas. Dallas is home to major corporate headquarters across financial services, telecom, and technology sectors. Austin's growth as a technology hub has attracted enterprise sales offices from companies like Apple, Google, and Oracle. Houston adds meaningful volume through its energy sector and large healthcare employers that maintain enterprise sales teams.
How to find business account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify business account executive roles in Texas where employers are open to sponsoring. Rather than sorting through general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from companies with active sponsorship histories in Texas, saving time for candidates who need confirmed sponsorship rather than roles where it is unconfirmed or unlikely.
Are there state-specific considerations for business account executive sponsorship in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since take-home pay differs from states like California or New York at the same nominal salary. For H-1B purposes, the Department of Labor's prevailing wage determination is specific to the metropolitan area, so Dallas, Houston, and Austin each have distinct wage requirements. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters also means more employers with in-house immigration support, which simplifies the sponsorship process for candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business account executive jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
