ABOUT THE JOB
This Jobot Job is hosted by: Adam Bennett
Are you a fit? Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.
SALARY
Salary: $180,000 - $240,000 per year
A bit about us:
Our client is a science-backed health and wellness company with a strong foothold in both the practitioner and consumer supplement space. They're investing seriously in their performance marketing function and looking for the person who will own it — not manage it, own it. This is a director-level role with real scope, a seat at the table, and an agency relationship that actually needs leading. If you've ever sat in a QBR thinking "I could run this better myself," here's your chance.
WHY JOIN US?
This company has been the most trusted name in its category for decades — but it is in the middle of something genuinely interesting. New leadership, a recent acquisition, and a deliberate push to modernize how they reach consumers mean the performance marketing function is being built with intention, not inherited by accident. This is not a role where you're handed a playbook and asked to run it. You're writing the playbook. The category is growing, the brand has real credibility, and there is meaningful budget behind this function. You'll have the ear of senior leadership, a cross-functional team that actually collaborates, and an agency relationship that needs a strong hand — not a babysitter. For a performance marketer who has spent years doing this for other brands, this is the moment to do it for one that sits at the intersection of science, wellness, and a consumer base that is genuinely passionate about what they put in their bodies. If you're looking for a high-visibility role where the work matters and the results are visible, this is worth a conversation.
JOB DETAILS
- 12+ years of paid media experience, with time spent on both the agency and client side — agency experience is required.
- You should have genuine fluency across channels, not just familiarity, and experience with MMM and incrementality measurement tools.
- Experience with premium health, beauty, or adjacent consumer categories is preferred.
- You're someone who can hold an agency accountable without burning the relationship, operate in a lean environment without losing your mind, and balance brand-building with performance goals without treating them like they're at odds.
- Equally comfortable in a strategy deck and a campaign dashboard.

Which companies sponsor visas for growth roles in New Jersey?
Large employers with consistent H-1B sponsorship records in New Jersey include Johnson & Johnson, Cognizant, Conduent, and Audible. Fintech and SaaS companies concentrated in Jersey City and Princeton also sponsor growth hires regularly. DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data is publicly available and shows which specific employers have filed for growth-related job titles in the state.
Which visa types are most common for growth roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa for growth roles in New Jersey, covering positions like growth manager, marketing analyst, and product growth specialist when they require a relevant bachelor's degree. L-1B visas apply when candidates transfer from a foreign office of the same company. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for the TN visa under relevant professional categories.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most growth sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City leads due to its concentration of financial services and tech firms, with easy access to Manhattan-based companies that list NJ worksites. Newark, Princeton, and Parsippany also see consistent sponsorship activity, particularly from pharma, consulting, and e-commerce employers. Edison and Bridgewater have emerging clusters tied to mid-size technology and healthcare companies that staff growth and analytics functions.
How to find growth visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find growth roles in New Jersey that come with visa sponsorship. You can filter specifically by state and role type to surface positions where employers have an established sponsorship track record. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing job postings that rarely disclose sponsorship availability upfront, which is a common frustration for international candidates.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for growth roles in New Jersey?
New Jersey's density of pharmaceutical, financial services, and technology employers creates a higher-than-average concentration of companies familiar with H-1B sponsorship processes. The state's university pipeline, including Rutgers and Princeton, produces a steady flow of international graduates targeting growth and analytics roles. Employers filing LCAs in New Jersey must meet DOL prevailing wage requirements specific to the Newark-Jersey City-White Plains metropolitan area, which affects how roles are structured and posted.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
