Job Description:
We are seeking the best talent for a Senior Manager, Technical Product Owner – End-to-End Anaplan Integration to join Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Run/Sustain. The role is located in New Brunswick, NJ on a hybrid schedule.
You will sit at the intersection of business and technology—setting direction, translating business priorities into technical solutions, and driving delivery and ongoing product management. This US-based role (preferably New Jersey) requires deep, hands-on Anaplan expertise and strong cross-functional leadership.
As the Technical Product Owner for end-to-end Anaplan integration, you will partner with Finance product leaders, Technology Services, Enterprise Architects, external implementation partners, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product ownership: Own the production Anaplan platform for core models (Admin, Security, Upload), ensuring availability, performance, and operational resilience. Drive scalability and adherence to Anaplan best practices across individual models and the broader ecosystem. Lead resolution of high-priority, complex incidents in line with SLAs.
- Technical expertise: Act as the Anaplan platform expert—understanding capabilities, constraints, and best practices. Stay current on new Anaplan features and industry trends to guide decisions and influence the technical roadmap.
- End-to-end integration: Partner with Data, Integration, and Testing teams to ensure end-to-end integration readiness for releases, cutovers, and operating cycles. Monitor and optimize data movement performance, timing, and reliability—especially during critical planning windows.
- Governance and security: Implement and enforce data governance and security controls within Anaplan models to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical product owners, product analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver milestones on time and within budget.
- Leadership: Lead and develop team members and foster a culture of operational discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement.

- 4+ years of Anaplan experience (e.g., Solution Architect, Model Builder), including platform operations and successful implementations.
- Strong understanding of finance planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Experience with data integration methods and tools, including integrating Anaplan with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., ERP, data platforms, ETL/iPaaS).
- Clear communicator with strong presentation skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Which companies sponsor visas for technical product managers in New Jersey?
Companies with consistent H-1B visa sponsorship records for technical product managers in New Jersey include Cognizant, Conduent, Prudential Financial, Johnson & Johnson, and Merck. Financial services firms based in Jersey City, including several large banks with operations across the Hudson, also regularly sponsor technical product manager roles. Sponsorship activity tends to be strongest at mid-size to large enterprises rather than early-stage startups.
Which visa types are most common for technical product manager roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa for technical product managers in New Jersey, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field such as computer science or engineering. L-1B visas appear for intracompany transfers at multinationals with New Jersey offices. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may also qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most technical product manager sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City and Newark lead in sponsorship activity for technical product managers, driven by financial services, insurance, and technology firms with major operations there. Parsippany, Bridgewater, and Princeton are active markets as well, concentrated in pharmaceutical and enterprise technology companies. The Route 1 corridor between Princeton and New Brunswick has a dense cluster of large employers that regularly sponsor technical roles.
How to find technical product manager visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter technical product manager roles by state, including New Jersey. Rather than sifting through general job boards where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from employers with verified sponsorship history. This saves significant time for candidates on H-1B, OPT, or other work authorization who need confirmed sponsorship before applying.
Are there any state-specific considerations for technical product managers seeking sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey sits within the New York City metropolitan statistical area for Department of Labor prevailing wage purposes, which means wage requirements for H-1B technical product manager roles are calculated against one of the higher-cost labor markets in the country. Employers must certify the offered position meets the prevailing wage for the relevant occupation and location. Candidates should also be aware that New Jersey's strong university pipeline, including Rutgers and NJIT, means competition for sponsored roles can be significant.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical product manager jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
