Position Summary
The Jr. Video Editor role is responsible for creating and versioning audiovisual digital assets across a variety of formats and channels. This position directly reports to the Content Creation Supervisor and supports full-funnel content needs for the Bridgestone and Firestone brands, products, solutions and partnerships. The teammate will take the established content strategy and bring it to life by creating versions of existing assets as well as net-new assets for social, website, paid media and other marketing channels that are aligned with brand voice, guidelines and goals. This person should be highly qualified in content creation, specifically able to create engaging video and animation assets.
Responsibilities
- Take creative direction from the Content Operations team and Stakeholders to post-produce video assets for use in social media (Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), websites, paid media and other placements.
- Collaborate with the Content Creation Supervisor to create net-new assets from RAW footage provided by the Bridgestone team and its agency partners.
- Version and resize previously existing assets for new formats and purposes.
- Serve as an expert in our brands; ensure adherence to guidelines and voice with every piece of creative delivered.
- Stay up-to-date on creative best practices and digital trends to produce compelling, high-performing and premium content.
- Collaborate with Content Operations Specialist to catalog and archive footage and working files on different platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Video Editing (or similar) Certification and 3+ years of hands-on video editing experience.
- Experience creating content for large global brands is not required but is highly preferred.
- High competency in video editing and motion graphics/2D animation – able to provide a creative portfolio and clearly define what the candidate’s role was for each piece in the portfolio.
- Level C1: Strong communication skills – verbal, written and listening.
- Ability to take and address creative feedback.
- Adaptable and service-oriented; thrives under pressure and able to work under strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) and content review platforms such as Frame.io.
Familiarity with:
- Digital asset management systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager),
- Task management systems (preferably Airtable),
- File sharing (Box, Dropbox, Google Drive) and cloud-editing platforms (LucidLink),
- Microsoft Office 365 environment.
