ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Technician to join our organization. As a Facilities and Maintenance Technician at Nusenda, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation support for the Credit Union's facilities as assigned by the supervisor. You will ensure multiple facilities are maintained in a professional and functional manner while serving as a department resource for technical and day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do:
- Perform daily general maintenance duties including but not limited to cleaning, painting, drywall, stucco, grounds keeping, changing light bulbs and ballasts, moving furniture, boxes.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting: including but not limited to greasing equipment, oiling motors, changing belts/air filters, T-stats and control systems, cleaning coils and contacts, checking gas levels, balancing air flow, and changing light bulbs.
- Schedule building and grounds inspections, systems and equipment inspections and testing for quality control.
- Serve as a department resource for advanced technical knowledge, day to day operational assistance and problem resolution.
- Set up for special events, building checks for security, etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- General maintenance experience is desired, with knowledge in a given specialty area such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.
- Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support departmental programs and coordinates effectively.
- Performs daily general maintenance duties: including but not limited to cleaning, painting, drywall, stucco, grounds keeping, changing light bulbs and ballasts, moving furniture, boxes, etc., setting up for special events, building checks for security, etc.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
- Proficient in written skills and Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, and Outlook is preferred.
- Ability to lead and train others as necessary.
