Position Overview
The State of Ohio is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to design, develop, maintain, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Aura Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, data modeling, security architecture, integrations, and Salesforce DevOps/CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, LWC, and Aura Components.
- Build declarative solutions using Salesforce Flows, custom objects, validation rules, and security controls.
- Troubleshoot complex software errors, application bottlenecks, and data integration issues.
- Write clean, documented code and robust test classes maintaining 75–80%+ code coverage.
- Participate in peer code reviews and follow Salesforce development best practices.
- Manage application lifecycles, sandbox environments, and deployment cycles.
- Use GitHub and CI/CD tools for version control and Salesforce deployments.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- 3+ years of Salesforce Platform development experience.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and data migration tools.
- Experience with LWC and Aura Components.
- Experience with Salesforce automation and advanced Flows.
- Experience with GitHub, DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
