Which companies sponsor visas for sales account executives in Ohio?
Large enterprise software and services companies are the most active sponsors for sales account executive roles in Ohio. Oracle, Salesforce, ADP, and NCR have established Ohio presences and documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Healthcare technology firms and financial services companies headquartered in Columbus and Cincinnati also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for sales-related specialty occupation filings.
Which visa types are most common for sales account executive roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales account executives in Ohio, but the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a bachelor's degree in a specific field like business, marketing, or a related discipline must be a genuine requirement. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business or management analyst categories. The O-1 visa is an option for candidates with demonstrated exceptional achievement in sales leadership.
Which cities in Ohio have the most sales account executive sponsorship jobs?
Columbus generates the highest volume of sales account executive sponsorship activity in Ohio, driven by its concentration of technology, insurance, and financial services employers. Cleveland has notable activity in manufacturing technology and healthcare IT sales. Cincinnati, home to regional headquarters for several Fortune 500 companies, also produces consistent demand for account executives in B2B and enterprise sales roles.
How to find sales account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers are open to visa sponsorship, which saves significant time compared to manually screening postings for sales account executive positions across Ohio. You can search by role and state to surface relevant openings in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Migrate Mate's database is focused on international candidates, so listings are curated with sponsorship eligibility in mind rather than general job seekers.
Are there any Ohio-specific considerations for sales account executives seeking visa sponsorship?
Ohio employers sponsoring H-1B workers for sales account executive roles must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for that occupation and geographic area, which varies by city and seniority level. Columbus's growing tech corridor around the Short North and Easton areas has increased demand for enterprise sales talent, and several Ohio universities including Ohio State produce business graduates who remain in the state and pursue sponsorship through local employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales account executive jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
