Which companies sponsor visas for sales account executives in Rhode Island?
Rhode Island employers with established visa sponsorship track records for sales roles include Amica Mutual, Textron, and CVS Health (with operations in the broader region). Mid-size SaaS and healthcare technology companies headquartered in Providence have also filed Labor Condition Applications for account executive positions. Sponsorship is most consistent at companies with dedicated HR and legal teams that manage the H-1B visa process regularly, not one-off hires.
Which visa types are most common for sales account executive roles in Rhode Island?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for sales account executive roles in Rhode Island, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. Some candidates also enter through L-1B intracompany transfer visas when moving from a multinational employer's foreign office to a Rhode Island entity. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles.
Which cities in Rhode Island have the most sales account executive sponsorship jobs?
Providence accounts for the majority of sales account executive sponsorship activity in Rhode Island, given its concentration of financial services, healthcare, and technology employers. Warwick and Cranston have a secondary presence, particularly in insurance and professional services. Providence's growing innovation district, anchored by firms near the Jewelry District and Davol Square, has drawn SaaS and tech companies that periodically sponsor sales roles for international candidates.
How to find sales account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Rhode Island?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, filtering sales account executive roles in Rhode Island by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're not sorting through listings that don't apply to international candidates. Because Rhode Island's sponsoring employer pool is smaller than major metros, setting up alerts for Providence-based technology, healthcare, and financial services companies on Migrate Mate helps you move quickly when relevant roles open. Targeting companies with prior H-1B LCA filings in the state improves your chances significantly.
Are there state-specific considerations for sales account executive visa sponsorship in Rhode Island?
Rhode Island's relatively small employer base means the pool of companies actively sponsoring H-1B workers for sales roles is more limited than in Massachusetts or New York. However, proximity to Boston makes Rhode Island employers competitive on compensation to attract talent. The state's strength in insurance, defense manufacturing (Textron, General Dynamics), and healthcare creates account executive demand in those verticals specifically, which tends to favor candidates with industry-matched degree backgrounds when building a specialty occupation case.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales account executive jobs in Rhode Island?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
