Which companies sponsor visas for sales account executives in Texas?
Large enterprise technology companies with significant Texas offices are among the most consistent sponsors for sales account executive roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, Oracle and IBM in Austin, SAP in Houston and Dallas, and Salesforce across multiple Texas locations have sponsored H-1B visa workers in sales and account management roles. Texas-headquartered firms in energy technology and telecommunications, including AT&T in Dallas, also appear in sponsorship records.
Which visa types are most common for sales account executive roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales account executives in Texas, applicable when the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline tied to the product being sold. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible under the TN visa category in the management consultant or other qualifying classification, depending on the specific role.
Which cities in Texas have the most sales account executive sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads in sponsorship volume for sales account executives, driven by its dense concentration of SaaS and cloud software companies. Dallas and its suburbs, particularly Plano and Irving, are strong markets due to corporate headquarters in telecom, financial technology, and enterprise software. Houston adds additional opportunity through energy technology and industrial B2B sales. San Antonio has a growing cybersecurity sector with some sponsoring employers as well.
How to find sales account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship status, so you can search sales account executive roles in Texas without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. The platform covers openings across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, including roles at enterprise software firms and other active sponsors. Setting up alerts for sales account executive positions in Texas helps you catch new listings from companies that have sponsored visas for similar roles before.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for sales account executive visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation packages, though this does not change federal prevailing wage requirements that apply to H-1B sponsorship. The state's large enterprise tech sector means many sponsoring employers are familiar with the H-1B process. However, sales roles sometimes face scrutiny in specialty occupation determinations, so employers typically document the degree requirement carefully. Having a technical product background or degree in a related field can strengthen a petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales account executive jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
