- Coordinate with Finance: Partner with the Finance team on vendor payments, invoice reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies tied to inbound shipments.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping and receiving issues, claims, and questions with carriers and outside vendors.

Which companies sponsor visas for logistics roles in Oregon?
Oregon's largest logistics visa sponsors tend to be major corporations with established immigration programs. Nike's world headquarters in Beaverton regularly sponsors logistics and supply chain professionals. Intel's Hillsboro campus sponsors roles tied to materials and procurement. Fred Meyer distribution operations and third-party logistics providers serving the Portland metro area also appear in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data as recurring sponsors for logistics positions.
Which visa types are most common for logistics roles in Oregon?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for logistics roles that require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research. Roles such as supply chain analyst, logistics engineer, and operations research analyst typically qualify as specialty occupations. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying logistics-related occupations under the USMCA agreement.
Which cities in Oregon have the most logistics sponsorship jobs?
Portland and its surrounding metro, including Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Tualatin, account for the large majority of logistics sponsorship activity in Oregon. The Port of Portland drives freight and import-export logistics hiring. Salem and Eugene have smaller but active distribution operations. Rural eastern Oregon has agricultural supply chain activity, though visa sponsorship is less common outside the Portland metro corridor.
How to find logistics visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters logistics jobs in Oregon by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving you from sorting through roles that won't support your immigration needs. You can search by job title, such as supply chain analyst or logistics coordinator, and filter to Oregon-based positions. Migrate Mate also surfaces employer sponsorship history, which helps you prioritize companies with a track record of filing H-1B or other work visas.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for logistics visa sponsorship candidates?
Oregon's logistics hiring is closely tied to the tech and consumer goods industries anchored in the Portland metro, meaning supply chain and operations roles often require technical degree backgrounds to qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B standards. Oregon does not impose state-level visa or work authorization requirements beyond federal rules. Candidates should be aware that prevailing wage determinations for logistics roles vary by county, so positions in Portland typically reflect higher wage levels than rural Oregon postings.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored logistics jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
