A little quiz: What do Batman and Robin, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Hermoine Granger and Harry Potter, and Venus and Serena Williams have in common?
Answer: Each member of the pair makes the other stronger.
That’s how it is with an Orangetheory Studio Manager and Assistant Studio Manager (ASM). They’re a doublet, a duo, a dyad. And while the manager is ultimately in charge, without that able-bodied sidekick, the studio wouldn’t run nearly as smoothly.
So if you’d like to be half of such a pair, to know the ropes as well as you know your members’ names, to step in when your manager steps out, to balance each other’s strengths, to set goals and surpass them...then Orangetheory just might be looking for you.
Every day will be different but, you’ll be representing the Orangetheory brand as you share the science of this workout you want everyone to love as much as you do.

Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for people operations managers?
Nike and Adidas, both headquartered in the Portland metro area, have established HR functions that have sponsored visas for senior people operations roles. Intel's Hillsboro campus is one of Oregon's largest private employers and has a documented H-1B sponsorship history across corporate functions including HR leadership. Portland-based tech companies such as Vacasa and PointClickCare also periodically hire at the people operations manager level with sponsorship.
Which visa types are most common for people operations manager roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for people operations managers in Oregon, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with extraordinary achievement in HR leadership may also qualify for the O-1A. Those already holding TN or L-1 status through a transferring employer are additional pathways seen in Oregon's corporate HR market.
Which cities in Oregon have the most people operations manager sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of people operations manager openings in Oregon, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, tech firms, and professional services employers. The broader Portland metro area, including Beaverton and Hillsboro where Nike and Intel operate, extends that hiring base significantly. Eugene sees limited but occasional openings tied to the University of Oregon and regional healthcare systems. Salem-based state agencies rarely sponsor visas.
How to find people operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search people operations manager roles in Oregon without sorting through employers who won't sponsor. The platform surfaces openings from companies with active H-1B filing histories in Oregon, which is particularly useful for narrowing focus to Portland metro employers in tech, apparel, and manufacturing where sponsorship is more common for HR leadership roles.
Are there state-specific considerations for people operations manager roles in Oregon regarding visa sponsorship?
Oregon has no state-level visa sponsorship program, so all sponsorship flows through federal categories like the H-1B. Employers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the Portland or relevant metro area, which is determined by the SOC code for human resources managers. Oregon's tech-heavy employer base in the Portland metro means LCA filings for people operations roles are more frequent here than in most mid-sized states, which reflects genuine demand rather than isolated cases.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored people operations manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
