Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for product management leads?
Intel and Nike are among the most active visa sponsors for senior product roles in Oregon, given their large technology and digital product organizations. Adidas America, Daimler Trucks North America, and a range of Portland-based software companies including Puppet and Vacasa have also sponsored product management leads. Enterprise-scale employers and VC-backed startups with international hiring programs are the most consistent sponsors at this seniority level.
Which visa types are most common for product management lead roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product management leads in Oregon, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Some candidates also enter on L-1A or L-1B visas when transferring from a parent or affiliated company abroad. Individuals with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals where the role aligns with qualifying USMCA occupations.
Which cities in Oregon have the most product management lead sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the overwhelming majority of product management lead sponsorship opportunities in Oregon. The city's tech sector, anchored by Intel's campus in Hillsboro and the headquarters of Nike and Adidas America, generates consistent demand for senior product talent. Hillsboro and Beaverton, both part of the Portland metro area, contribute significantly through Intel and affiliated suppliers. Eugene has a smaller but growing tech presence, though sponsorship activity there is limited compared to the Portland corridor.
How to find product management lead visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship jobs, including product management lead roles in Oregon. You can filter by state and role to surface employers with active sponsorship history, which saves time compared to manually screening job postings. Given the seniority of product management lead positions, focusing on established tech employers and mid-to-large companies in the Portland metro through Migrate Mate is a practical starting point.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for product management lead visa sponsorship?
Oregon does not have state-level visa or work authorization requirements that differ from federal rules, but the Portland metro's prevailing wage levels for senior product roles are set by the Department of Labor and reflect the region's competitive tech market. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must certify they will pay the prevailing or actual wage, whichever is higher. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon also produce graduates who enter product pipelines, though lead-level roles typically require several years of prior experience before sponsorship becomes a common employer consideration.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management lead jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
