Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for product management leads?
Established tech employers with a track record of sponsoring product management leads in Utah include Adobe's Lehi office, Qualtrics, Domo, and Pluralsight. Larger enterprises like Dell Technologies and Microsoft also maintain Utah operations with product teams that have sponsored H-1B visa workers. Early-stage SaaS companies in the Silicon Slopes area do sponsor as well, though less frequently than established players.
Which visa types are most common for product management lead roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product management lead roles in Utah, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Those transferring within a multinational company may be eligible for the L-1A managerial visa instead.
Which cities in Utah have the most product management lead sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and the adjacent Silicon Slopes corridor, including Lehi, Draper, Provo, and South Jordan, account for the vast majority of product management lead sponsorship opportunities in Utah. Lehi in particular hosts offices for Adobe, Domo, and numerous SaaS companies. Provo benefits from proximity to Brigham Young University, which contributes to a steady pipeline of tech talent and employer hiring activity.
How to find product management lead visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find product management lead roles in Utah without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role to surface relevant openings across the Salt Lake City metro and Silicon Slopes. This saves significant time compared to manually vetting each posting for sponsorship intent.
Are there state-specific considerations for product management leads seeking visa sponsorship in Utah?
Utah's Department of Labor prevailing wage determinations apply to H-1B petitions filed for product management lead roles, and employers must certify that the offered compensation meets the applicable wage level for the Salt Lake City or Provo metropolitan areas. Utah's Silicon Slopes cluster means many sponsoring employers are growth-stage companies, so candidates should confirm that a prospective employer has prior H-1B sponsorship history before far along in the process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product management lead jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
