Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for sales account executives?
Oregon's largest visa sponsors for sales account executives are concentrated in the Portland metro area and include technology companies such as Intel, Nike, Daimler Trucks North America, and a range of SaaS firms. Enterprise software companies with Oregon offices, including those in the cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure sectors, have historically filed H-1B petitions for sales roles requiring specialized technical knowledge.
Which visa types are most common for sales account executive roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales account executives in Oregon, particularly for roles requiring a degree in business, marketing, or a technical field directly related to the product being sold. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the business person or management consultant categories, depending on the specific role requirements.
Which cities in Oregon have the most sales account executive sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of sponsored sales account executive positions in Oregon, driven by its concentration of technology, software, and enterprise companies. Hillsboro and Beaverton in the Portland metro area also see activity, particularly through Intel and its supplier ecosystem. Eugene has a smaller but growing technology presence through companies connected to the University of Oregon's business programs.
How to find sales account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse sales account executive roles in Oregon without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to focus on Oregon-based employers actively hiring for account executive positions and open to sponsoring work visas, which saves significant time in the job search process.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for sales account executives seeking visa sponsorship?
Oregon employers sponsoring H-1B workers for sales account executive roles must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, which are benchmarked to the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan area for most positions. The state's technology sector concentration means sponsoring employers tend to be enterprise software and hardware companies where the sales role requires demonstrable technical expertise, strengthening the specialty occupation case for H-1B qualification.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales account executive jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
