Which companies sponsor visas for sales account executives in New Jersey?
Pharmaceutical and life sciences companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Becton Dickinson have sponsored sales account executive roles in New Jersey, as have technology firms like Cognizant and Conduent. Financial services employers based in Newark and Jersey City also appear in sponsorship records. Sponsorship is more common at large enterprises than at smaller regional sales teams, and availability varies by hiring cycle.
Which visa types are most common for sales account executive roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for sales account executives in New Jersey, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline relevant to the product being sold. Candidates already holding L-1B or O-1 visa status through a qualifying employer may also be eligible. TN visa status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in certain business-related classifications.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most sales account executive sponsorship jobs?
Newark and Jersey City account for a significant share of sponsored sales roles given their proximity to New York City and the concentration of financial services and technology employers. Princeton and the Route 1 corridor host life sciences and pharmaceutical companies that sponsor enterprise sales positions. Parsippany and Woodbridge also see sponsorship activity from technology and professional services firms with regional headquarters in northern New Jersey.
How to find sales account executive visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify New Jersey employers actively hiring sales account executives who need work authorization. Rather than sorting through general job boards and guessing at sponsorship policies, you can browse roles on Migrate Mate that are tagged for H-1B or other visa categories, then prioritize outreach to companies with a documented history of sponsoring sales talent in New Jersey.
Are there any state-specific or role-specific considerations for sales account executive sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey employers filing H-1B petitions for sales account executives must demonstrate the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, which can require showing that a specific degree field is standard for the position rather than a general preference. New Jersey's concentration of pharmaceutical and enterprise technology employers strengthens that argument for technical sales roles. The state's proximity to New York City also means some employers post roles across both markets, so candidates should clarify the primary work location on the Labor Condition Application.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales account executive jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
