Which companies sponsor visas for analytics managers in South Carolina?
BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Michelin North America, Sonoco Products, and Benefitfocus have filed Labor Condition Applications for analytics and data roles in South Carolina. Large financial services firms operating in Columbia and Charlotte-adjacent markets also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as sponsors for analytics manager positions.
Which visa types are most common for analytics manager roles in South Carolina?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for analytics managers in South Carolina. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as statistics, data science, or computer science. Candidates with a master's degree may also pursue H-1B cap exemption through certain nonprofit or university-affiliated employers in the state.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
Columbia leads as the state capital and home to major healthcare and insurance employers. Greenville and Spartanburg have grown as analytics hubs tied to advanced manufacturing, with companies like Michelin and BMW operating regional headquarters nearby. Charleston has an emerging tech and logistics analytics presence driven by port operations and a growing startup sector.
How to find analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters analytics manager roles in South Carolina specifically by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from manually screening job postings that don't lead to sponsorship. The platform surfaces employers in Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston who have a documented history of sponsoring analytics talent, making it a more targeted starting point than a general job search.
Are there any state-specific considerations for analytics managers pursuing sponsorship in South Carolina?
South Carolina's analytics hiring is closely tied to its manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services industries, which means roles often require domain-specific experience alongside technical skills. The University of South Carolina and Clemson University produce local analytics graduates, so sponsored candidates benefit from differentiating on industry expertise. Employers filing H-1B petitions must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the Columbia or Greenville-Spartanburg wage areas, which vary by experience level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored analytics manager jobs in South Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
