Which companies sponsor visas for customer success managers in South Carolina?
Blackbaud, headquartered in Charleston, and Benefitfocus, also based in Charleston, are among the most active technology employers in South Carolina with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Larger enterprises with operations in the Columbia and Greenville areas, including major healthcare systems and financial services firms, have also sponsored customer success roles where the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines.
Which visa types are most common for customer success manager roles in South Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer success managers in South Carolina, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, computer science, or a related discipline. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa. Those with extraordinary ability in customer success or SaaS leadership sometimes qualify for the O-1A. TN visa status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management categories.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most customer success manager sponsorship jobs?
Charleston leads the state for sponsored customer success manager positions, driven by its growing technology and financial technology sector, including companies like Blackbaud and Benefitfocus. Columbia, as the state capital with a concentration of healthcare IT and government contractors, is the second strongest market. Fort Mill and Rock Hill benefit from proximity to Charlotte and attract employers with regional offices seeking customer-facing technical talent.
How to find customer success manager visa sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can search customer success manager roles in South Carolina without manually screening each employer. Because sponsorship willingness varies significantly by company size and industry in this state, using Migrate Mate to narrow results to confirmed sponsoring employers saves considerable time, especially for candidates on H-1B, E-3 visa, or OPT who need an offer quickly.
Are there state-specific considerations for customer success managers seeking visa sponsorship in South Carolina?
South Carolina does not have a state income tax framework that uniquely affects sponsorship economics, but employers filing Labor Condition Applications must pay the prevailing wage for the specific location, which differs between Charleston, Columbia, and smaller metro areas. The state's university pipeline, particularly from the University of South Carolina and Clemson University, means many technology employers are already familiar with OPT and H-1B processes for STEM-adjacent roles including customer success positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success manager jobs in South Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
