Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline initiatives within a large financial services environment. This role will focus on AWS infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and the migration and modernization of application pipelines to GitLab. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, GitLab, and Jenkins and be comfortable working within a large enterprise environment with established DevOps processes and controls. Key responsibilities include supporting AWS infrastructure, maintaining and improving automated deployment pipelines, migrating existing pipelines to GitLab, and partnering with application teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, including migrating existing application pipelines to GitLab
- Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AWS infrastructure automation
- Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and enterprise build/deployment processes
- Experience with source control platforms such as GitLab and Bitbucket
- Familiarity with UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) or similar deployment automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Ability to work effectively with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams in a large enterprise environment
- Financial services or other highly regulated enterprise experience is beneficial
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
