We are seeking an experienced and proactive DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Azure to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support developers with project delivery and infrastructure-related needs.
- Perform IT infrastructure tasks, including Linux and Windows server administration.
- Assist in migrating systems to the cloud and maintain existing cloud assets.
- Manage software releases across multiple environments.
- Execute and support run activities related to infrastructure assets.
- Set up and review monitoring solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices in observability, incident response, and reliability engineering.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
- Fluent English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience in implementing security best practices for infrastructure, secrets management, and automated scanning.
- Experience in monitoring and optimising cloud resource usage to control costs and ensure scalability (FinOps).
- Experience in supporting high-availability and disaster recovery configurations for critical infrastructure.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Scripting and automation skills such as Bash, Python, or similar.
Soft skills:
- Ability to work autonomously and in direct collaboration with a Client.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
