From cutting-edge resources and a collaborative environment to the freedom to make an impact and more, you’ll find the ingredients you need at LPL Financial to shape your success while helping clients pursue their financial goals.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-oriented Senior Analyst to join the Advisor Channel Strategy Activation team. This role serves as a rotational “activation analyst” who provides capacity leverage across strategic domains by implementing shared operating disciplines, with primary focus on program management.
The Senior Analyst will reduce execution overhead for domain owners by building and maintaining project plans, managing artifacts and documentation (policies, procedures, handoff packets), coordinating meetings and follow-through, and producing leadership-ready updates. The role will also strengthen team-wide visibility into work in flight, risks, and timing so progress is clear, measurable, and durable.
Responsibilities:
-
Program Management and Portfolio Visibility (Primary):
-
Maintain the team’s initiative portfolio, including kanban-style tracking, 90-day plans, and detailed project plans to ensure work is sequenced, visible, and executable.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and slippage across initiatives, escalating issues and surfacing options to keep execution moving.
-
Support initiative owners during high-capacity periods by flexing across domains to stabilize plans, drive follow-through, and close gaps in execution hygiene.
-
Documentation and Execution Artifacts
-
Create and maintain high-quality documentation that enables scalability and clean transitions, including policies, procedures, playbooks, and handoff packets.
-
Ensure artifacts are consistently organized, versioned, and ready for BAU owners and cross-functional partners to consume.
-
Meeting Orchestration and Follow-Through
-
Schedule and coordinate working sessions and stakeholder touchpoints, including agendas, pre-reads, note capture, decision logging, and action tracking.
-
Maintain clear records of next steps, owners, and timelines to reduce ambiguity and ensure accountability across initiatives.
-
Leadership-Ready Communication
-
Build concise, executive-ready updates (slides, one-pagers, status narratives) that communicate progress, risks, decisions needed, and next steps.
-
Provide enhanced visibility into what the team is working on and where executive support is required.
-
Continuous Improvement and Operating Discipline Adoption
-
Help implement consistent operating discipline standards across the team, improving repeatability, reducing ad hoc work, and strengthening execution stability.

Which companies sponsor visas for strategy analysts in South Carolina?
Large employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship history in South Carolina include BMW Manufacturing in Spartanburg, Michelin North America in Greenville, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina in Columbia, and Prisma Health. Financial services firms and consulting practices serving the Charlotte metro from Rock Hill and Fort Mill have also filed LCAs for strategy and planning roles.
Which visa types are most common for strategy analyst roles in South Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for strategy analyst positions in South Carolina. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may also be eligible for the E-3 visa. Those from Canada or Mexico may qualify under the TN visa category as a Management Consultant or Economist, depending on job duties and employer documentation.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most strategy analyst sponsorship jobs?
Columbia sees the highest concentration of strategy analyst roles, driven by state government contractors, healthcare systems, and insurance companies. Greenville and Spartanburg attract strategy talent through manufacturing and operations-focused employers. The Fort Mill and Rock Hill corridor, bordering Charlotte, North Carolina, functions as an extension of that metro's financial services market and produces meaningful sponsorship activity for analytical and strategy roles.
How to find strategy analyst visa sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship status, so you can browse strategy analyst openings in South Carolina without sifting through roles that don't sponsor. Search by role and state to surface positions from employers who have a documented history of filing H-1B petitions or LCAs for similar positions. This saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering sponsorship availability later in the process.
Are there state-specific considerations for strategy analyst sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
South Carolina's economy leans heavily on manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services, which shapes where strategy analyst demand actually exists. The presence of large foreign-owned manufacturers like BMW and Michelin means some employers already have international hiring infrastructure in place. The University of South Carolina and Clemson University also generate local graduate pipelines that some employers tap, though international graduates still compete under standard H-1B cap rules and lottery selection.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy analyst jobs in South Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
