Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for strategy analysts?
Financial services firms and large healthcare systems are the most consistent sponsors in Florida. Companies like Citigroup, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, AdventHealth, and HCA Healthcare have established sponsorship track records for strategy and analytics roles. Major consulting firms with Florida offices, including Deloitte, PwC, and McKinsey, also sponsor strategy analysts, particularly at the senior analyst and manager level.
Which visa types are most common for strategy analyst roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for strategy analyst positions in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field. Candidates with advanced degrees may also pursue the H-1B advanced degree exemption. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying analytical roles, and L-1B transfers apply to analysts moving within a multinational employer.
Which cities in Florida have the most strategy analyst sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for strategy analyst sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of financial institutions, Latin American regional headquarters, and a growing technology sector. Tampa is a close second, with strong demand from healthcare systems, financial services firms, and management consulting offices. Orlando generates sponsorship opportunities through its healthcare, hospitality technology, and defense contracting industries. Jacksonville also has a notable presence in banking and insurance strategy roles.
How to find strategy analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles offering visa sponsorship, so you can search strategy analyst positions in Florida without sorting through employers who won't sponsor. The platform surfaces openings across Miami, Tampa, and Orlando from financial services, healthcare, and consulting employers with active sponsorship histories. Filtering by role and state on Migrate Mate is the most direct way to identify which Florida employers are actively hiring sponsored strategy analysts.
Are there state-specific factors that affect strategy analyst sponsorship in Florida?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations employers use for Labor Condition Applications. Sponsors must still meet DOL prevailing wage requirements for the specific metro area, and wages in Miami tend to be benchmarked higher than in mid-size Florida cities. Florida's large international business community, particularly in Miami's financial district, creates a hiring environment where employers are generally more experienced with H-1B sponsorship processes than in less internationalized markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy analyst jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
