Which companies sponsor visas for account executives in Tennessee?
Nashville-based healthcare technology companies, including HCA Healthcare and Change Healthcare, have sponsored account executive roles through the H-1B visa program. Enterprise software firms and SaaS companies operating in Nashville's growing tech corridor are also active sponsors. Memphis-based logistics and supply chain companies occasionally sponsor as well, though volume is higher in Nashville's healthcare and technology sectors.
Which visa types are most common for account executive roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa for account executives in Tennessee, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, which typically requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field like business, marketing, or a technical discipline relevant to the employer's product. The L-1B visa applies to intracompany transfers with specialized knowledge. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most account executive sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the majority of account executive visa sponsorship activity in Tennessee, driven by its concentration of healthcare IT companies, SaaS startups, and professional services firms. Brentwood and Franklin, suburban markets adjacent to Nashville, also host regional headquarters that hire account executives. Memphis contributes opportunities in logistics, distribution, and financial services, though at lower volume than the Nashville metro.
How to find account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters account executive jobs in Tennessee specifically to employers who have demonstrated a willingness to sponsor work visas, saving you the time of screening through roles that offer no sponsorship path. You can browse current openings by city, industry, and visa type. This is particularly useful for targeting Nashville's healthcare technology and SaaS sectors, where sponsorship-open employers are most concentrated.
Are there state-specific considerations for account executive sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage comparisons when employers file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The LCA requires employers to pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and location, and DOL uses metro-level data, so Nashville and Memphis have distinct wage benchmarks. Tennessee's healthcare technology cluster around Nashville also means many account executive roles involve selling into regulated industries, which can strengthen the specialty occupation argument for H-1B eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account executive jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
