Which companies sponsor visas for sales operations roles in Tennessee?
Several large Tennessee-based employers have sponsored work visas for sales operations professionals, including HCA Healthcare and Ardent Health Services in Nashville's healthcare technology sector, FedEx and International Paper in Memphis's logistics and supply chain space, and Eastman Chemical in the Kingsport-Knoxville corridor. Mid-sized SaaS and distribution companies across Nashville's growing tech scene have also filed H-1B petitions for sales operations and revenue operations analysts.
Which visa types are most common for sales operations roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales operations roles in Tennessee, particularly for positions requiring a bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or a related field. The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or analyst roles. The L-1B is another pathway for intracompany transferees moving into a U.S. sales operations function from a foreign affiliate of the same employer.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most sales operations sponsorship jobs?
Nashville leads Tennessee for sales operations sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of healthcare technology firms, SaaS companies, and corporate headquarters. Memphis is a secondary hub, particularly for logistics, distribution, and supply chain-adjacent sales operations roles tied to companies like FedEx and AutoZone. Knoxville and Chattanooga are smaller markets but have growing employer bases in manufacturing and energy sectors that occasionally sponsor sales operations professionals.
How to find sales operations visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to browse sales operations roles in Tennessee without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to surface openings at Tennessee employers who have an active history of sponsoring work visas. This is particularly useful for targeting Nashville's healthcare tech corridor or Memphis's logistics sector, where sponsorship-willing employers are concentrated.
Are there any state-specific considerations for sales operations visa sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage calculations employers use when filing Labor Condition Applications for H-1B workers. Sales operations roles in Tennessee often sit at the intersection of business analytics and CRM management, and USCIS scrutinizes whether such positions genuinely qualify as specialty occupations requiring a specific degree field. Candidates with degrees in business administration, information systems, or data analytics are generally better positioned to meet that standard.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
