Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for partnerships associate roles?
Technology companies with large Texas presences are the most active sponsors for partnerships associate positions. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, Oracle in Austin, and Salesforce across Dallas and Austin have histories of sponsoring H-1B workers in business development and partnerships functions. Enterprise software firms, SaaS companies, and large healthcare organizations in Houston and Dallas also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA filings for similar roles.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships associates in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships associate roles in Texas, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the business analyst or management consultant categories, depending on how the role is structured and documented.
How to find partnerships associate visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for partnerships associate roles in Texas without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers with documented sponsorship histories in Texas, which is particularly useful for roles in Austin, Dallas, and Houston where competition is high and not every employer openly advertises sponsorship willingness.
Which cities in Texas have the most partnerships associate sponsorship jobs?
Austin concentrates the highest volume of partnerships associate sponsorship opportunities, driven by its dense tech startup and enterprise software community. Dallas follows closely, with major corporations in financial services, logistics, and SaaS headquartered in the metro area. Houston adds opportunities in energy technology, healthcare systems, and professional services. San Antonio has a smaller but growing presence, particularly in cybersecurity and government contracting.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for partnerships associate visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since the Department of Labor sets wage levels based on local market data rather than a national standard. Austin's rapid growth has pushed local prevailing wages upward for business and partnerships roles, meaning employers must meet higher benchmarks for H-1B sponsorship in that metro. Texas universities including UT Austin and Texas A&M also feed strong OPT pipelines into partnerships roles at in-state employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships associate jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
