Qualifications
- Strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on aerospace hardware integration and MGSE design.
- Experience working in high-pressure launch base or cleanroom environments where precision is paramount.

Experience
A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the aerospace industry or a high-flow manufacturing environment. Experience navigating the lifecycle of a product from design/build through to final qualification and deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated integration systems used in large-scale aerospace assembly.
- Advanced proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure high-precision interfaces between the satellite and MGSE.
- Previous experience leading small teams or managing specific hardware subsystems through a full launch campaign.

Which telecom companies sponsor TN visas in Texas?
AT&T, headquartered in Dallas, is among the largest telecom employers sponsoring TN visas in Texas, alongside Ericsson, Nokia, and Cisco, which maintain significant operations across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. T-Mobile, Lumen Technologies, and Frontier Communications also hire in Texas and have established TN sponsorship patterns for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in technical roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most telecom TN sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth is the dominant market, driven by AT&T's global headquarters and a dense concentration of telecom vendors and contractors. Houston is a strong secondary market, particularly for infrastructure and network operations roles tied to the energy and enterprise sectors. Austin has a growing telecom presence connected to its tech industry, with increasing demand for software-defined networking and cloud communications engineers.
What types of telecom roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in telecom is tied to USMCA-listed occupations. Engineers are the most common qualifying category, covering roles such as network engineer, systems engineer, telecommunications engineer, and RF engineer. Computer systems analysts working on telecom platforms also frequently qualify. The role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and the job duties must align with the USMCA occupational category listed on the TN documentation.
How do I find telecom TN sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type (TN), industry (telecom), and state (Texas) to see jobs from employers with verified sponsorship patterns, without sifting through listings that don't apply to your situation. Telecom roles in Dallas, Houston, and Austin appear regularly on Migrate Mate, making it a practical starting point for Canadian and Mexican nationals targeting the Texas market.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for telecom TN sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects overall compensation comparisons but does not change TN visa requirements. From an immigration standpoint, TN status is federal and uniform across all states. However, the concentration of large telecom employers in Texas means many hiring managers are familiar with TN sponsorship, which can simplify internal approval processes compared to states where international hiring is less common.
