INTRODUCTION
Agentic AI is revolutionizing CPUs — and we're redesigning the data center to keep up. At NVIDIA, we build the CPU, GPU, and infrastructure as a single unit of design. Ready to help us define what comes next? Widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- We're expanding our team and looking for a Director/Senior Director, Server CPU Product Architecture, to lead the definition of NVIDIA's next-generation server CPUs. This is a meaningful role! You will drive the product architecture of NVIDIA's server CPUs from first concept through launch, working directly with system architecture, platform architecture, and product management to define what the CPU needs to be, and driving the architectural trade-offs that determine how it performs across the entire data center.
- This role works directly with customers and partners, bringing market needs and cases — including return on investment — back into engineering, and across architecture, platform, networking, software, and silicon engineering teams so every CPU decision serves the AI factory as a whole. This role leads a team of senior architects and represents the roadmap to customers and to NVIDIA's most senior technical and executive leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of experience in server or data center CPU/SoC architecture, having shipped multiple product generations.
- 7+ years of managing a team to deliver NVIDIA CPU Product strategy.
- A history of partnering across architecture, engineering, and product organizations, and building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Experience owning products through their full lifecycle — including customer engagement, return on investment ownership, and value proposition.
- A proven ability to supervise industry and technology trends and competitive dynamics, and anticipate where the market is heading.
- Experience co-designing silicon requirements directly with hyperscalers or large AI labs.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience spanning both x86 and Arm-based server CPU architectures.
- A background in accelerated computing or AI infrastructure, not just traditional server CPUs.
COMPENSATION
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 288,000 USD - 437,000 USD for Level 5, and 352,000 USD - 529,000 USD for Level 6. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Which companies sponsor visas for waiters in Texas?
Large hospitality groups with significant Texas footprints are the most consistent sponsors for waiter roles. Companies like Landry's Inc., headquartered in Houston, and national chains such as Darden Restaurants and Marriott's food and beverage operations have historically filed for work visas in food service positions. Independent fine dining establishments in Dallas and Houston also sponsor, though less frequently than large operators.
Which visa types are most common for waiter roles in Texas?
The H-2B visa temporary nonagricultural worker visa is the most common pathway for waiter positions in Texas, as these roles are typically classified as temporary or seasonal. Some fine dining establishments pursue H-1B visa sponsorship for highly specialized roles, though this is rare for standard service positions. J-1 visa exchange visitor visas are also used by hospitality employers for short-term cultural exchange placements in food service.
Which cities in Texas have the most waiter sponsorship jobs?
Houston and Dallas lead in waiter sponsorship activity due to their size and concentration of hotel groups, steakhouse chains, and fine dining restaurants. Austin's fast-growing hospitality sector has increased demand noticeably in recent years, particularly around the convention and live music venue circuit. San Antonio also sees steady activity, driven by its large tourism industry and proximity to major convention centers.
How to find waiter visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and lets you filter waiter roles in Texas by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from sorting through listings that won't lead anywhere. Because Texas has a large hospitality sector with employers ranging from major hotel chains to independent fine dining groups, filtering by location and role on Migrate Mate helps you identify who is actively sponsoring rather than guessing.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for waiters seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas does not have a state income tax, which affects take-home pay calculations for sponsored workers. The state's hospitality industry is concentrated around convention and tourism hubs, so sponsorship activity often correlates with large hotel and resort operators rather than small independent restaurants. Texas's size also means prevailing wage determinations vary significantly between metro areas, so the Department of Labor's wage data for your specific city matters when evaluating offers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored waiter jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
