INTRODUCTION
Adobe seeks a Senior or Principal Engineering Program Manager with strategic and execution skills to support Adobe Analytics Product and Engineering teams in meeting vital business targets. The role involves building and growing the next generation of Adobe Analytics products, especially emphasizing agentic capabilities in the Adobe Customer Experience Orchestration (CXO) portfolio.
You will operate in a highly complex, fast-evolving, and often ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate thrives in this setting — bringing structure to ambiguity, improving cross-functional alignment, and developing positive relationships across the organization. This is not a “task master” role. Serving as a reliable, hands-on partner embedded within the program team, you will work closely with Engineering, Product, UX, and Marketing leaders to drive outcomes.
You will be instrumental in advancing collaboration, communication, consistency in execution, and alignment within the CXO ecosystem — establishing yourself as a trusted and indispensable contributor. Experience leading software development programs and collaborating across Engineering, Product, and Marketing is essential.
If you feel driven to develop the future of Adobe’s analytical solutions in the emerging Agentic space, we’d love to meet you.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Drive complex programs from concept through release.
-
Proactively identify risks, remove obstacles, and solve problems directly — taking ownership rather than waiting for direction.
-
Ensure strong operational hygiene across tools (JIRA, dashboards, status reporting).
-
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across global teams, partnering closely with other Program Managers and collaborators.
-
Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs.
-
Mentor peers, effect positive change, and lead by example.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-
Deep sense of ownership and accountability — you operate like a business owner.
-
Technical curiosity — you seek to understand how systems work and leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Codex) to accelerate insights and solutions.
-
Strong prioritization skills and the ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of influencing various cross-functional groups and senior leadership.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
-
Proficiency in JIRA (basic), Confluence (basic), Excel (intermediate to advanced), and modern AI tooling.
-
10+ years of relevant experience, including engineering management and/or program management experience.
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PMP, CSM, or Agile certifications preferred.

Which companies sponsor visas for engineering program managers in Utah?
Several large employers in Utah have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for engineering program managers. These include Adobe, Qualtrics, Ancestry, and defense-sector firms such as Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, which have significant Utah operations. Large financial technology companies concentrated along the Silicon Slopes corridor in Lehi and Draper also regularly file H-1B petitions for senior technical program management roles.
Which visa types are most common for engineering program manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa category for engineering program managers in Utah, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. L-1A and L-1B transfers are also common at multinational companies with Utah offices. Candidates with O-1 eligibility based on extraordinary achievement represent a smaller but growing share.
Which cities in Utah have the most engineering program manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and the Silicon Slopes corridor, which spans Lehi, Draper, and South Jordan, account for the largest concentration of engineering program manager sponsorship opportunities in Utah. Provo and Orem also see steady demand, partly driven by proximity to Brigham Young University. Ogden has a smaller but active hiring base tied to aerospace and defense employers in the northern Wasatch Front region.
How to find engineering program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters engineering program manager roles in Utah by visa sponsorship status, so you are not sorting through listings that will not support work authorization. The platform surfaces employers that have filed H-1B and other work visa petitions for program management positions in the state, giving you a more targeted starting point than general job searches.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for engineering program managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Utah's Silicon Slopes tech community has expanded rapidly, and many employers there are growth-stage companies that may have less established visa sponsorship infrastructure compared to large enterprises. Engineering program managers with backgrounds in software, semiconductor, or aerospace sectors align well with Utah's dominant industries. The University of Utah and Brigham Young University also contribute a steady pipeline of technical talent, which means competition for sponsored roles can be meaningful at the mid-level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored engineering program manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
