Which investment management companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Utah?
Utah-based and nationally operating firms with investment management offices in Salt Lake City have filed H-1B1 Singapore Labor Condition Applications, including asset managers, wealth advisory firms, and financial technology companies. Employers such as Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments, and regional fund managers appear in DOL disclosure data. Sponsorship patterns vary by firm size, role specificity, and whether the position meets the specialty occupation standard under H-1B1 Singapore requirements.
Which cities in Utah have the most investment management H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the largest share of investment management H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity in Utah, driven by its concentration of financial services firms and proximity to Silicon Slopes technology companies that maintain investment and treasury functions. Provo and Lehi also host fintech and asset management operations. Smaller markets like Ogden and St. George have limited but emerging financial services hiring activity.
What types of investment management roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that typically qualify under the H-1B1 Singapore specialty occupation standard in investment management include portfolio analyst, quantitative analyst, risk analyst, compliance officer, financial analyst, and investment research associate. Each position must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline. Roles with generalist or administrative functions may face greater scrutiny during the LCA and visa adjudication process.
How do I find investment management H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface investment management employers in Utah with verified H-1B1 Singapore LCA filing history. Because the H-1B visa1 Singapore has no lottery and an annual cap that historically goes unfilled, Utah employers in asset management and financial services represent a more accessible sponsorship path than H-1B roles. Migrate Mate's employer data draws directly from DOL disclosure records.
Are there any Utah-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in investment management?
Utah's investment management sector benefits from a relatively low cost of operating compared to New York or San Francisco, which influences employer willingness to absorb sponsorship costs. The H-1B1 Singapore requires the employer to file a certified LCA with DOL confirming prevailing wage compliance before the Singaporean national applies at a U.S. consulate. Utah employers must also meet any applicable state wage and hour laws alongside federal prevailing wage obligations confirmed through the OFLC Wage Search tool.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore investment management jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
