Search Manager - Consulting Jobs in UtahManager - Consulting Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for manager - consulting roles in Utah?
The most active sponsors for consulting manager positions in Utah include the Big Four accounting and advisory firms, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, and EY, along with global management consultancies like Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton. Technology-focused consultancies operating in the Silicon Slopes area around Lehi and Draper also file H-1B petitions for senior consulting roles requiring specialized technical or industry expertise.
Which visa types are most common for manager - consulting roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for consulting manager positions in Utah, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in business, management, engineering, or a related specialty field. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa. Those transferring within a multinational firm to a Utah office may be eligible for the L-1A intracompany transferee visa, which applies specifically to managerial or executive roles.
Which cities in Utah have the most manager - consulting sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the largest concentration of consulting manager sponsorship activity in Utah, driven by its established professional services sector and corporate headquarters presence. The Silicon Slopes corridor, spanning Lehi, Draper, and Provo, has grown significantly as technology companies build out consulting and advisory functions. Provo also benefits from proximity to Brigham Young University, which generates a pipeline of business and management talent that attracts consulting firm investment.
How to find manager - consulting visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify consulting manager roles in Utah where employers have indicated willingness to sponsor. Because sponsorship willingness is not always advertised in standard job postings, using a platform built around this filter saves significant research time. Migrate Mate also surfaces roles from firms with documented H-1B filing histories in Utah, which is particularly useful for consulting manager candidates targeting established sponsors.
Are there state-specific considerations for manager - consulting sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Utah's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B consulting manager positions are determined by the Department of Labor based on the Salt Lake City or Provo metropolitan statistical area, which tend to reflect the region's competitive but generally lower cost of living compared to coastal markets. Utah's growing technology and life sciences sectors have increased demand for consulting managers with industry-specific expertise, and firms recruiting from BYU's Marriott School of Business occasionally extend sponsorship offers to international MBA graduates entering senior consulting tracks.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager - consulting jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
