Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for product associates?
Adobe, Qualtrics, and Pluralsight are among the most active sponsors for product roles in Utah, particularly in Salt Lake City and Provo. Healthcare technology companies like Health Catalyst and Recursion Pharmaceuticals also hire product associates with sponsorship. Larger enterprises with established HR and legal infrastructure tend to be more consistent sponsors than early-stage startups.
What visa types are most common for product associate roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product associates in Utah, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering. Candidates with F-1 OPT or STEM OPT authorization can work while pursuing H-1B sponsorship. Australians may also find E-3 visa sponsorship available at larger Utah employers with established immigration programs.
Which cities in Utah have the most product associate sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the largest share of product associate sponsorship opportunities in Utah, with a dense cluster of enterprise software and fintech employers. Provo and the broader Silicon Slopes corridor, stretching toward Lehi and American Fork, hosts a high concentration of tech companies that regularly hire for product roles. Ogden has a smaller but growing presence through defense and logistics technology firms.
How to find product associate visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it easier to identify product associate openings in Utah without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. Search by role and state to see current openings from companies like Adobe, Qualtrics, and others in the Silicon Slopes area. This is more efficient than general job searches that rarely surface sponsorship status upfront.
Are there any Utah-specific factors product associates should know about visa sponsorship?
Utah's Silicon Slopes tech corridor has produced a pipeline of international graduates from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, meaning employers in the region have experience navigating H-1B sponsorship for product roles. The prevailing wage requirement for H-1B petitions is determined by the specific metro area, so Salt Lake City and Provo wages are assessed separately. Product associate roles need to meet the specialty occupation standard, which typically requires demonstrating that a specific degree field is a minimum requirement for the position.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product associate jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
