Which companies sponsor visas for product consultants in Utah?
Technology firms in Utah's Silicon Slopes corridor are the most consistent sponsors for product consultant roles. Companies like Qualtrics, Adobe, Domo, and Workfront have filed Labor Condition Applications for product-adjacent positions. Enterprise software, SaaS, and analytics companies headquartered or with major offices in the Salt Lake City and Lehi areas tend to have established immigration programs capable of supporting H-1B visa and other work visa petitions.
Which visa types are most common for product consultant roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product consultant roles in Utah, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering. Australian citizens may also qualify for the E-3 visa, and candidates from Canada or Mexico may explore the TN visa under the business analyst or management consultant categories, subject to specific eligibility requirements.
How to find product consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical to search for product consultant roles in Utah without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can filter by location and role type to surface employers in Salt Lake City, Lehi, and Provo who have active sponsorship programs. Migrate Mate's focus on sponsorship-confirmed listings saves significant time compared to general job searches.
Which cities in Utah have the most product consultant sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and Lehi account for the majority of product consultant sponsorship opportunities in Utah. Lehi, often called Silicon Slopes, hosts a dense cluster of SaaS and enterprise technology companies that regularly hire product-facing roles. Provo also contributes, particularly through companies connected to Brigham Young University's business and technology programs. Ogden and St. George have smaller but growing tech presences.
Are there any Utah-specific factors product consultants should know about visa sponsorship?
Utah's tech sector draws heavily from local universities including the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, which creates competition for product consultant roles but also signals that employers in the region are experienced hiring highly educated professionals. Prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B apply statewide and are set by the Department of Labor based on the specific job duties and location. Salt Lake City and Lehi metro areas typically carry higher prevailing wage levels than rural parts of the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product consultant jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
