Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for software product managers?
Several established technology companies in Utah have documented histories of sponsoring work visas for software product managers. Adobe's Lehi office, Qualtrics in Provo, Domo in American Fork, and Pluralsight in Draper regularly hire product management professionals internationally. Larger enterprises like Ancestry and health tech firms such as Health Catalyst and Recursion also appear in federal Labor Condition Application filings for product management roles.
What visa types are most common for software product manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for software product managers in Utah, as the role consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates already holding L-1A or L-1B status through multinational employers, or O-1 visa holders with demonstrated extraordinary ability in product management, also fill these roles at Utah technology companies.
Which cities in Utah have the most software product manager sponsorship jobs?
The Salt Lake City metro area and the Silicon Slopes corridor, which runs through Lehi, Provo, and Draper, account for the majority of software product manager sponsorship opportunities in Utah. Lehi in particular hosts regional headquarters for Adobe, Qualtrics, and several other technology companies with active international hiring. Salt Lake City proper also draws product managers into fintech, healthtech, and enterprise software firms.
How to find software product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to search software product manager roles in Utah without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can narrow results by location to focus on Silicon Slopes cities like Lehi, Provo, and Draper, where sponsoring employers are most concentrated. Migrate Mate's filters save significant time compared to searching general job boards.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for software product managers in Utah?
Utah's concentration of high-growth technology companies along the Silicon Slopes corridor means many employers are experienced with H-1B sponsorship processes. The University of Utah and Brigham Young University both produce computer science and business graduates, creating established pipelines that employers use when evaluating international candidates with similar backgrounds. Employers in Utah's healthtech and enterprise software sectors tend to sponsor at higher rates relative to the state's overall size.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored software product manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
