Which companies sponsor visas for enterprise account executives in Vermont?
Technology and SaaS companies operating out of Burlington and Williston account for most enterprise account executive sponsorships in Vermont. Firms like Dealer.com (a Cox Automotive company), MyWebGrocer, and enterprise software vendors with Vermont offices have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for sales-adjacent roles. Financial services and healthcare IT companies in the Champlain Valley also periodically sponsor qualified candidates for senior account executive positions.
Which visa types are most common for enterprise account executive roles in Vermont?
The H-1B is the most common visa for enterprise account executives in Vermont, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or information technology. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA. Australians can explore the E-3 visa. O-1A is an option for those with demonstrable extraordinary achievement in sales or business development.
Which cities in Vermont have the most enterprise account executive sponsorship jobs?
Burlington is Vermont's primary hub for enterprise account executive roles with visa sponsorship, driven by its concentration of technology companies, a strong startup community, and proximity to the University of Vermont. South Burlington and Williston host several established software and services firms that recruit for regional and national sales territories. Montpelier, as the state capital, has some public sector and government-adjacent sales opportunities, though sponsoring employers are less common there.
How to find enterprise account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Vermont?
Migrate Mate is specifically built for international job seekers and filters enterprise account executive roles in Vermont by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from manually researching which employers will support your application. Because Vermont's sponsoring employer pool is smaller than coastal tech hubs, using a targeted tool like Migrate Mate helps surface active opportunities faster. You can filter by role, state, and visa type to focus only on employers actively hiring sponsored candidates.
Are there state-specific considerations for enterprise account executive visa sponsorship in Vermont?
Vermont's tech sector is smaller than major coastal markets, which means the pool of employers willing to sponsor is narrower, though competition among sponsored candidates is also more limited. The University of Vermont and Champlain College produce graduates who feed local hiring pipelines, so employers here are accustomed to evaluating candidates from diverse educational backgrounds. Prevailing wage determinations for enterprise account executive roles in Vermont are set by the Department of Labor based on the Burlington metropolitan area classification.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored enterprise account executive jobs in Vermont?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
