About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Analyst to support our business development and growth initiatives. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or candidate with 0–1 year of experience who is analytical, proactive, organized, and an effective writer. The successful candidate will support opportunity research, pipeline management, proposal support activities, and internal business operations in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in federal business development, market research, AI-enabled productivity tools, and proposal support while working with multiple levels of leadership across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Research and identify federal government business opportunities using tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, agency forecasts, online research, and other market intelligence platforms
- Support pipeline management activities, including data entry, tracking opportunities, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within internal systems
- Assist with market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity qualification efforts
- Draft, edit, and proofread business development materials, capability statements, resumes, reports, presentations, and other written content
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and other generative AI platforms to improve research, writing, analysis, and operational efficiency
- Support the creation and refinement of prompts, workflows, and AI-assisted processes; experience building AI agents or automations is a plus
- Coordinate with business development, proposal, operations, and leadership teams to support growth initiatives
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and support follow-up actions and documentation
- Assist with maintaining organized files, documentation, and reporting metrics
- Demonstrate initiative and proactively identify ways to improve processes and support organizational goals
- Support additional business operations, administrative, or proposal-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, English, Communications, Political Science, Marketing, or related field)
- 0–1 year of professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Microsoft Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of leadership and staff
- Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to support a variety of duties as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal government contracting or interest in learning the GovCon industry
- Experience using or willingness to learn GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, agency procurement forecasts, and related research tools
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI-assisted research, or AI workflow automation
- Experience creating presentations, reports, or professional written content
- Experience supporting proposals, resumes, or marketing materials is a plus
