ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow written inspection and testing procedures to ensure manufactured product meets established construction, aesthetic, and operational standards; perform all quality control checks electronically within an ERP system
• Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped
• Reject all non-conforming product before it ships to the customer
• Record inspection results by completing forms, summarizing re-work, and inputting data into a quality database
• Use gauges such as go/no-go and other devices to ensure product was built to standards
• Maintain awareness of Engineering and or process changes that affect product quality (ECN’s)
• Immediately report re-occurring quality issues to Management
• Update QC knowledge by participating in educational opportunities sponsored by the company
• Ensure jigs/tools have been returned to the correct storage location at days end
• Ensure proper placement of all warning decals
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• No minimum education required
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
• Ability to always follow instructions and processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude

COMPENSATION

• The pay range for this position is $20.91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
