Search Sales Business Development Jobs in WisconsinSales Business Development Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Wisconsin sponsor visas for sales business development roles?
Fiserv in Milwaukee, Epic Systems in Verona, and Johnson Controls in Milwaukee are among the more active Wisconsin employers sponsoring international candidates in sales and business development. Mid-sized technology, healthcare IT, and industrial manufacturing firms also file sponsorships, particularly for roles requiring specialized product expertise where the talent pool is narrower domestically.
Which visa types are most common for sales business development jobs in Wisconsin?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for sales business development roles in Wisconsin, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Roles focused on technical sales, solutions consulting, or enterprise account management tied to software or engineering products tend to meet that standard more reliably than general sales positions.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most sales business development visa sponsorship jobs?
Madison and Milwaukee generate the most sales business development sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Madison benefits from Epic Systems and a strong university-linked tech sector, while Milwaukee's base in financial technology, manufacturing, and industrial services creates steady demand. Green Bay and Waukesha see smaller but consistent hiring, primarily through manufacturing and distribution companies with international growth operations.
How to find sales business development visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse sales business development openings in Wisconsin without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces roles at companies like Fiserv, Epic Systems, and regional technology firms where international candidates are actively considered, saving significant time compared to unfiltered searches.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for international sales business development candidates?
Wisconsin's sponsoring employers in this field are concentrated in enterprise software, fintech, and industrial manufacturing, so candidates with domain knowledge in those sectors are better positioned. The University of Wisconsin system also produces strong local talent, meaning international candidates benefit from clearly differentiating specialized technical expertise or multilingual capabilities that address gaps domestic applicants may not fill.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales business development jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
