- Process full-cycle payroll and manage certified payroll for DOT and municipal projects.
- Handle union reporting, payments, wage rates, and benefit contributions.
- Manage payroll tax filings, sales tax reporting, year-end tax documents, and other regulatory filings.
- Oversee construction project billing and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate insurance renewals, workers' compensation and general liability audits.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EEO, and other applicable reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in Trimble Viewpoint is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting, multi-entity accounting, union reporting, and certified payroll.
- Experience with payroll tax filings, insurance audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with Atrix, BMO banking portals, Textura, GC Pay, or Procore is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
